Buzzard Yurt sleeps up to six and is located at the far end of the yurt field in a secluded position in the corner of a meadow with beautiful views onto the adjacent sheep field and to the pastures and woods beyond. Buzzard is raised off the ground on an extensive wooden deck (new for 2019) which is accessed by six steps. There is outdoor furniture on the deck for you to relax and enjoy the view. The meadow has paths mown into a little maze. Wildflowers and butterflies abound during Spring and Summer and during Autumn the hedgerow behind Buzzard is a brilliant spot for blackberrying.
Although Buzzard is the furthest yurt from the car park and communal barn/showers, it is still not very far.
A ‘field kitchen’ beside the yurt is kitted out with a camping gas stove, and cutlery, crockery, utensils and pots and pans are provided. It also has its own barbeque and fire pit (all wood supplied for log burners and fire pits). There is also a composting loo. Fresh water is on tap close by.
