Buzzard Yurt sleeps up to six in one kingsize double and four singles and is located at the far end of the yurt field in a secluded position in the corner of a meadow with beautiful views onto the adjacent sheep field and to the pastures and woods beyond. Buzzard is raised off the ground on an extensive wooden deck (new for 2019) which is accessed by six steps. There is outdoor furniture on the deck for you to relax and enjoy the view.
The yurt is furnished with colourful wall hangings, bed throws and floor rugs. The kingsize beds and all mattresses have been upgraded for 2020. Bedding and bed linen is provided and all beds made for your arrival. If needed, one or two of the single beds can be put away to make more space, for example for travel cots (we can provide if necessary) or dog beds. A wood-burning stove will keep you warm and cosy. The meadow has paths mown into a little maze. Wildflowers and butterflies abound during Spring and Summer and during Autumn the hedgerow behind Buzzard is a brilliant spot for blackberrying.
Although Buzzard is the furthest yurt from the car park and communal barn/showers, it is still not very far.
The camp kitchen beside the yurt has been newly fitted out for 2020 and has a camping gas stove with two hobs and a small oven. All cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots and pans are provided. New washing up station at each camp kitchen for 2020 too.
Each yurt has its own Weber kettle barbeque (starter amount of charcoal provided) and fire pit (wood supplied for log burners and fire pits). Outdoor furniture (table and benches) and parasol provided.
Fresh water is on tap outside, along with your own composting loo.
