Badger Yurt can sleep up to six people in one kingsize double and four singles and looks out across open fields to the Blackdown Hills. It is situated in the main yurt field next to Woodpecker, but it has its own private space, enclosed by a high Devon bank scattered with wild flowers giving privacy and sound proofing.
The yurt is furnished with colourful wall hangings, bed throws and floor rugs. The kingsize beds and all mattresses have been upgraded for 2020. Bedding and bed linen is provided and all beds made for your arrival. If needed, one or two of the single beds can be put away to make more space, for example for travel cots (we can one provide if necessary) or dog beds. A wood-burning stove will keep you warm and cosy.
The camp kitchen beside the yurt has been newly fitted out for 2020 and has a camping gas stove with two hobs and a small oven. All cutlery, utensils, crockery and cooking equipment are provided. New washing up station at each camp kitchen for 2020 too. Each yurt has its own Weber kettle barbeque (starter amount of charcoal provided) and fire pit (wood supplied for log burners and fire pits). Outdoor furniture (table and benches) and parasol provided. Fresh water is on tap outside, along with your own composting loo.
In addition to the yurt guests have use of the communal barn and showers a short walk away across the car park.
