The 12th of August sees a solar eclipse in the evening, you may have to go up to the footpath behind the yurts to have a view of the sun into the West. Remember to look through a pinhole camera or special glasses rated for solar viewing otherwise you may damage your retinas. The Perseid meteor shower of "shooting stars" returns this month - peaking on 12th and 13th August but visible until the 24th. We have availability in Willow Yurt over the 12th. Amazingly we also have yurts available on both middle weekends of August (from Friday 14th and Friday 21st) and now you can enjoy 3 nights for only £50 or £60 more than the price of 2 depending on the size of yurt you go for: 🛖 3 nights in Willow (sleeps 4) now £330 (was £360). 2 nights £280. 🛖 3 nights in Badger, Buzzard or Woodpecker (each sleeps 6) now £360 (was £405). 2 nights £300. It is also new moon on the 12th of August so the weekend of 14th August will be particularly dark without a large moon in the way to impede your vision.
We also have a smattering of midweek availability left in August. Next week we have Willow from Sunday 2nd to Wednesday 5th inclusive. The following week Buzzard and Willow from Monday 10th, and Buzzard from Monday 17th. We are fully booked from Monday 24th until Sunday 30th August inclusive.
To see availability either visit each yurt's individual page to view live calendars or go to our Book Now page where you can enter your preferred dates in a search.
